What data we process
From hosts: email, payment data (handled by Stripe; we never see your card) and the content of their event. From guests: the details they or the hosts enter (name, email, phone, replies, allergies if provided, and uploaded photos).
Why
To provide the service: show the website, record RSVPs, send service emails (invitations, reminders and notices) and charge for plans. We don't sell data or use it for advertising.
Legal basis
Performance of the contract with the host. For guests, the host is the controller of their data and we act as processor.
Retention
While the website is active and up to 12 months after it's archived, unless the host deletes it earlier. Invoices are kept for as long as the law requires.
Providers
Stripe (payments), our EU hosting provider and our email delivery provider, all with appropriate GDPR safeguards.
Cookies
We only use technical cookies needed to log in and to remember access to protected websites. No analytics or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data from your dashboard or by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to your country's data protection authority.
